My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party Day #5

**Is my blog working??  I'm posting today in both places until I know it is ok...sorry for a confusion week***

Today is the last day of sneak peeks at My Craft Spot! Tomorrow, Kimberly will release all five new sets! Woo Hoo! Which one is your favorite so far? Well, today we are sneak peeking my favorite new set, Butterfly Kisses! Here is my Sneak Peek!

I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this sentiment! Perfect for my little dirt monsters in the spring/summer. They love making mud pies and planting with Mommy! I embellished the card with some Navy Crinkle Ribbon and Blueberry Divine Twine both available at My Craft Spot!

I used my SU cardstock and MME Jack & Jill pattern paper. The edges are all sponged and sewed down.

The adorable little garden gnome comes from Paper Smooches Forest Whimsy set. I inked it up with my Copics and layered it to make him pop off the page!

My Oldest E was so in love with this card and the sentiment that she insisted that she needed to give it to her teacher and class for the first day of spring so now this little gnome lives in her classroom!

Ok, so now that you have seen our sneak peeks all week at My Craft Spot, are you ready for the blog hop? Tomorrow, we will be hoping and there will be fun prizes to be won along the way! If you missed this week's peeks at My Craft Spot, make sure you stop by and check them out for your chance to win! I myself have been blown away by the Design Teams work and I can't wait to see what is in store for tomorrow! Thanks for stopping by today!

Hello Again!  Day 3 of the  My Craft Spot Stamp Release Party!  Have you had a chance to check out all the amazing DT projects and giveaways this week!  If not, make sure you go to My Craft Spot and check it out!  Today we are sneak peeking Kimberly's new set called Tiny Tags!  I can't even start to describe how fabulous this set is!  There are just so many fun sentiments!  Here is my favorite project using the set.
The weather has been so nice here, that we have been walking to/from school each day.  I wanted to make some special cards for the school crossing guards since they help us get there safely each day!
I cut them to make 3.5" x 3.5" sized card and stamped the "Thanks!" sentiment around the outside!   The little bear is cut from Create A Critter and I added a PKS Critter face.  The little vest is from Paper Dolls and I hand cut the details.  I finished the little cards off with some Orange Divine Twine.

We live quite a distance from the school so we pass through several of the crossing guards.  I made sure to make a card for each of them!

For the next project, I actually used one of the tag stamps on a retirement card for a teacher.  The "Happy Retirement" stamp is Stampin' Up and is not part of the new stamp set.

Here is a close up of the adorable tag stamp!!  They are all so cute and all the sentiments fit into the tags!
I used the apple from Doodlecharms and the super cute bookworm from Create A Critter!

I made sure to add a PKS Critter Face and glossy his glasses.

Tomorrow is the last day of Sneak Peeks then Blog Hop on Saturday....YAY blog candy!  Make sure you stop by My Craft Spot and check out Kimberly and the DTs amazing projects!  Thanks for stopping by today!

Thankful Thursday Made it Myself March Blog Hop

*Sorry for the change in location. I'll be posting here until I get my blog back into a working order*
Hello Everyone!  Today is the Thankful Thursday Made it Myself March Blog Hop hosted by the fabulous Jenny at Crazy About Cricut!  If you just came from the talented Sandy's blog, then you are heading in the right direction.  If you are just stopping by today, then make sure you go to Crazy About Cricut to start at the beginning!  The Thankful Thursday Design Team have some super fun projects to share with you, so you will not want to miss a thing!

Today we have a special project to share with you all.  My Oldest E wanted a Night Owl Birthday Party and after seeing these amazing felt owls at SnowyBliss, she HAD TO HAVE THEM!!   The party Anj shared at SnowyBliss was completely amazing and honestly, I would love to have a Night Owl Party of my own for my next birthday!!  Since no one is going to throw me a party, my MIL, mother and I got started on Oldest E's Birthday Party.
We bought the Owl pattern from SnowyBliss's ETSY shop and they were so easy to bring to life.  There are 13 owls ready to be re-created but my daughter had a huge response with 26 kids RSVPd so we had to get to work on coming up with some new owls (especially some boyish ones).  Here are the new owls my Oldest E and I came up with for her friends.
Yooo-Hooo!
I’m a Birthday Owl!
Balloons, cupcakes, presents and fun!  We can laugh and play, be silly and run!  The party is going to be a blast!
I'm so excited to be your new friend!

(sings to the tune of Simon and Garfunkel's song)

The rest of these owls are from the SnowyBliss pattern so you must stop by SnowyBliss in order to check them out and get their personalities.   I did make a few alterations to some of them which I'll list below.
(I gave him a guitar rather than music notes)

(My mom gave him heart eyes...super cute)

(My mother in law and I thought she needed a dress-up neaklace and some earrings)

(I gave her a full tutu)

The kids had to find glow stick neaklaces which had a star attached.  Each star was numbered and coordinated with an owl.  The kids pulled them out of the bags one at a time and it was so awesome to see their faces as they met their owl!

My daughter had so much fun coming up with these and she was thrilled that almost every one of her friends got an owl that was PERFECT for their personalities!  Her party was a few weeks ago now, and we are still coming up with new owl personalities...haha...the party never ends!

A huge thank you to Anj for sharing this amazing Birthday Party, and another huge thank you to my mother-in-law and mother for helping me bring these adorable owls to life!  There is no way I could have gotten them all done without them and it was definitely a fun family project for several weeks, which is what Thankful Thursday is all about!

There were so many owls that I couldn't get them into a good pic together, so my friend put this collage together for me...thank you Jenny!!
Thanks for taking the time to check out our creation today.  I've taken enough of your time so please hop on to your next stop at
